Miscellaneous March

Nothing much to report this past few weeks. M has been teething, and a little sick, and this morning she broke out into a rash which we think is the common baby virus Roseola. She's been resting at home with me the past few days, and sleeping a lot, and not eating much. She's doing ok though, in pretty good spirits most of the time, still chasing the cats and babbling a lot.

The weather finally turned warmer this week and right now it's 64 degrees out. Heaven! If only there were nice grass in the park to sit on. All the lawns are brown and dead right now from the snow.

Here's a few pictures from the past few weeks.

M was in daycare. I was working this day, but stopped by to see my friends who had a playdate.

My picky eater

Jer's friend Ben Tyson was in town for work and so he called Jer up to get together. We went on a nice long walk through the village, and had pizza. M enjoyed herself, and thoroughly charmed the waitstaff.

Ashley, one of the teachers who works at our daycare offered her babysitting services. Since she likes  Mackenzie so much we've used her several times now. It's nice knowing that if Mackenzie needs her, there will be a familiar face there that she recognizes. A side perk of this is that Ashely texts me with pictures of M at daycare during the day sometimes.

Out for a stroll

This was the rash I discovered this morning. it got a little more visible as the day went on, but I'm hoping it's gone by tomorrow so we can go back to daycare!!

And lastly, of course, a few videos.

M loves loves to torment our poor kitties. Unfortunately I think it will be a long time before she understands and implements the word "gentle". Comet is pretty good at being patient with her, and even Chauncey tolerates the blows sometimes.

She's getting to be a much better walker, although we are still a ways out from freestanding walking. But if she's in a bad mood and I put her on her walker, she always perks up. I think she's pretty proud of herself.
