Two!

Mackenzie is Two (and she knows it!) We had a fun time celebrating at home with close family, lots of toys, and a princess cake. I think she was thrilled to have all the super important people in her life all together at once.

Checking out all her wrapped presents

Playing with new stamps

Princess baskin robins ice cream cake. It was delicious!

New 'little people' racetrak from Uncle Scott & Auntie Roz

mmm birthday cake! She definitely had a sugar high afterwards.

Mommy baby selfie

Kissy face!

On a long hike with a proper backpack. She didn't like being cooped up for so long though.

M has started swim lessons in preparation for our trip to Mexico this summer. There's a great facility in walnut creek that is all indoors and kept very warm and comfortable. This was at our first lesson, which turned out to be a disaster (lots of crying), but now that she's on her 4th lesson she's all smiles and loves it.
Swim lessons!

Singing and rolling in her crib

Playing with hairdo's

Dad did all of these styles.

She loved the box her toys came in

Jeremy and mackenzie have a new game of "walk on ceiling" or "crawl on ceiling". Luckily she knows that mommy is not tall enough or strong enough for this, so I don't get asked, but it's fun to watch her play with Daddy. Reminds me a little of the exorcist when I see her on the ceiling, but it's still very funny nonetheless!

Tea time with Papa! Loved her new tea set from Aunt Jules

We had a major tree trimming here, long overdue. Jeremy and I were always afraid a big limb would fall on the house. Unfortunately our tree only has about 10 years left, but we spruced it up anyway and now it looks much better.

We got to attend the Marin Valentines Ball, a charity event for underprivileged youth in Marin county. It was fun to get all dressed up and eat good food. There was a live auction which was so fun to watch, and the band was excellent (and all wearing suits of red hearts). The dance floor was on fire the whole night, unlike the KPMG-accountant only events we've been to where nobody dances.

more ceiling fun

Check out my banana! Loves seeing herself in the camera
